Nerd Nite : conference + quizz + concert

Welcome to Nerd Nite ! A free event in english to learn about new things while sipping a beer.  Three passionate speakers will share their knowledge through these fun and instructive talks:

 Searching for Absolutes in an impermanent world  
- A talk by Pooja Sharma PhD student in Astronomy and amateur philosopher

 Breaking Barriers: Quadball or the Inclusion Revolution in Sport  
- A talk by David, Former president of the French Quadball (Quiddich) association
An immersion in a sport at the crossroads of social and sporting change.

 Flower power : why think of plants in video games ?  
- A talk by Eléa Héberlé, Dr. in molecular biology and plant educator on Plantoscope, PodcastScience and Echoscience Grand Est
What's the connection between Stardew Valley, Minecraft, The Witcher or Red Dead Redemption? 
They're all very different games, but at the heart of them are plants: from biomes and lore to game mechanics, the plant world is a huge source of inspiration for game developers. 
As such, is there a way to use them beyond that to raise interest and awareness of the natural world?

 The evening will end with a live "Choose Your Own Adventure" Concert.  
Get ready to rock out in our live concert experience like no other! Choose your own musical adventure as Michael from "Extra Lives" takes you on a journey through genres inspired by Old School video games. The power is in your hands to shape the night's soundtrack!  
The concert will be in english with French subtitles   so no excuses !
